His Place - It's Year Around Convenience For Fishers & Nature Lovers
If you want to enjoy the peace of a quiet, river side facility,  you'll love His Place.  We are conveniently located in the Ozark Mountains on the banks of the Arkansas White River. We're one mile north of the historic railroading town of Cotter, Arkansas, Trout Capital of the USA.  We are ten minutes west of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Our facilities are quiet, peaceful, private, and relaxing.

His Place is open all year long - serving families, individuals, groups, and corporate guests. This area of the Ozarks has lovely spring days starting in mid March, enjoyable summer weather May through September, spectacular fall foliage starting in mid October, and very few days below freezing December through February. There are no closed fishing seasons. Top Trophy trout fishing time is January through February. (Visit our fishing page for details.) There is plenty to enjoy any time of year.

At His Place you will enjoy clean, new and remodeled units in a variety of sizes - from one room units with full kitchens to two bedroom units, to our dorm that sleeps up to 8 people. We have a new private illuminated boat dock, boat and motor rentals, a new wildlife observation deck, a covered pavilion, nature trail, professional guided fishing trips, and a tackle shop. By combining lodging, boat rentals, guided trips, wildlife watching, and nature walks all in one spot right on the river, you have everything you need for the ultimate in a vacation experience.
